<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Eastern Lebanon County School District</p> <p>Position Title: Elementary (K-2) Life Skills Support Teacher</p> <p>Location: Jackson Elementary</p> <p>The Eastern Lebanon County School District is now accepting applications for the position of an Elementary (K-2) Life Skills Support Teacher to begin at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. While not required, experience supporting students in the areas of early literacy and numeracy is preferred, along with knowledge in implementing the strategies and protocols related to student behavior management. Strong student engagement, communication skills (verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and effectively utilize several classroom paraprofessional staff members are desired. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), as well as leading IEP Team meetings with parents and school personnel.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be assigned a mentor teacher, receive regular support from the District's Special Education Consultant for Specialized Programs, and will also participate in several professional development opportunities to provide a foundation of skills aligned to the teaching of direct instruction programs utilized as part of this special education program.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>Certification in:</p> <ul> <li>Pennsylvania Special Education Certification </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current Act 34, 151 and 114 </li></ul> <p>Application Process:</p> <p>All applications are being accepted at www.pareap.net.
