<p>Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. Coaches and develops employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor while clearly articulating expectations. Provides direction and support for all staff members to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property.</p> <ul> <li>Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction, throughout the Hotel, is achieved and maintained. </li><li>Maintains knowledge of hotel, community and special events to accurately provide guests with needed information. </li><li>Analyzes service and general operations of all departments in the Hotel on a daily basis, giving feedback and offering direction, as needed. </li><li>Ensures all employees are well trained with an emphasis on detail to provide service levels consistent with the "premier" concept. </li><li>Ensures that all staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policies. </li><li>Helps to maintain and enhance a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and employees. </li><li>Ensures all team members follow hotel policies and procedures. </li><li>Expedites and oversees special requests from the Front Desk. </li><li>Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of public areas. </li><li>Submits to management recommendations for maintenance-related issues. </li><li>Responds to guests' questions and concerns in a professional manner. </li><li>Inventories supplies and equipment and checks on the working condition of equipment. </li><li>Directs/Assigns the work of employees. </li><li>Coaches employees on work-related issues, to include disciplinary action </li><li>Write performance evaluations for each employee </li><li>Other responsibilities as assigned or required </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School degree or equivalent (GED) required </li><li>Two years' experience in the hospitality industry, in a supervisory capacity. </li><li>Excellent customer service and public relations skills required. </li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills required. </li><li>Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), LMS </li><li>Ability to work a rotating shift with fluctuating days off is required. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English </li></ul>
