<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments </li><li>Coordinates multiple schedules/ GEMMS, Outlook, Google etc. </li><li>Schedules hospital procedures, tests, outpatient services and return visits for multiple physicians </li><li>Collaborates with nurses and physicians to ensure clinics run smoothly </li><li>Effectively communicates appointments and instructions to patients </li><li>Communicates with physician offices, medical supply companies, transportation and living facilities about patient care and appointments </li><li>Schedules translation services as needed </li><li>Fax referrals to specialty clinics </li><li>Mails appointment reminders and instructions when needed </li><li>Covers other schedulers as needed </li><li>Schedules all new patient consults </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education: High School diploma or general education degree.</p> <p>Experience: 1 year experience in medical office preferred.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas has a PRN opportunity for a Cardiology Clinic Procedure Scheduler to join our team in North Little Rock.</p> <p>This is a great opportunity to join a cohesive, family-oriented team.
