<p>We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Fixed Income Operations as a member of the Client Service Group, you will liaise directly with the firm's institutional clients as they trade Credit products (including but not limited to corporate & municipal bonds, treasuries, mortgage-back securities, and others) to ensure timely allocation, confirmation and affirmation of such transactions.</p> <p>In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. Read on…</p> <p>What you'll do in the role:</p> <ul> <li>Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team </li><li>Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements </li><li>Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output </li><li>Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to clients with a focus on optimizing workflows by proactively identifying and addressing both MS and client-driven issues </li><li>Become an expert in the critical functions, products and systems covered by the FID CCP team with a deep understanding of firm front-to-back processes </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring to the role:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision </li><li>Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests </li><li>Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values </li><li>Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment and to showcase leadership capabilities when required to ensure team completion of tasks </li><li>Appetite to learn new skills and/or firm/industry tools that can be leverage to aid in process improvement, team efficiency and client experience </li><li>At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role </li></ul> <p>What you can expect from Morgan Stanley:</p> <p>We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 85 years.
