<p>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</p> <p>Full-time exempt</p> <p>As the Clinical Coordinator for Obstetrics, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting the OB department. Reporting to the Director of OB, you will coordinate inpatient care, ensuring quality service and effective team collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Providing expert clinical guidance and serving as a resource for OB nursing staff. </li><li>Leading daily operations, mentoring staff, and participating in performance reviews. </li><li>Assisting with policy development, scheduling, departmental reporting, and compliance initiatives. </li><li>Supporting quality improvement programs and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. </li><li>Championing department-specific education and evidence-based nursing practices. </li><li>Enhancing patient care through effective communication, observation, and evaluation. </li><li>Collaborating with physicians and staff to improve efficiency and patient flow. </li><li>Responding to emergencies and serving as Administrator on Call as needed. </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL BRING:</p> <ul> <li>Education & Experience: </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) </li><li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active Ohio RN licensure </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory nursing experience in obstetrics </li><li>Certifications & Licensure: </li><li>Current Ohio RN license </li><li>American Heart Association BLS certification </li><li>ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (attain within six months of hire) </li><li>Completion of 24 contact hours of CE per two-year licensure renewal, per Ohio Board of Nursing requirements </li><li>Skills & Qualities: </li><li>Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building abilities </li><li>Commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement </li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to respond to emergencies and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments </li><li>Passion for fostering collaboration between staff, physicians, and patients </li></ul> <p>WHY JOIN US:</p> <p>At Memorial, we uphold values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service in everything we do.
