This role is a vital part of our Dining Services Operations and helps maintain the cleanliness and quality standards of our kitchen areas. If you are looking for a role where you get hands on culinary experience as well as flexibility that meets your needs, look no further!</p> <p>Our Dishwasher:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitors and records water temperature and sanitizer solution levels; notifies management if levels are not correct</p> </li><li> <p>May occasionally assist in food preparation.</p> </li><li> <p>Understands and observes sanitary guidelines and environmental requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Sets up/breaks down dishwashing machine as necessary, including: arms, screens, traps, and baskets; cleans inside and outside; checks to see it is operating properly</p> </li><li> <p>Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing system, garbage cans, and areas in kitchen.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains storage room for cleaning supplies, chemicals; keeps room clean, and items stocked, labeled, and organized</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Experience with kitchen organization </li><li>Good communication skills in the English language (oral and written) </li><li>Ability to occasionally assist with other kitchen duties. </li></ul>
