This position is part of the Bureau Central Office Operations Support Services team, which is responsible for oversight and coordination of OMH capital projects, fleet services, Nutrition, safety & security, environmental services, plant operations, maintenance contracts, real & Surplus property and the revitalization program.</p> <p>Specific duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Provide Operational support at 44 Holland, 150 Broadway & CDPC and other locations as required </li><li>Report Building related deficiencies to Supervisor and/or building management </li><li>Monitor & Respond to emails in a timely fashion </li><li>Analyze Data regarding space needs for 44 Holland (Central Office), 150 Broadway & CDPC as assigned </li><li>Assist in the coordination & Physical movement of staff within Central office, 150 broadway, & CDPC as assigned </li><li>Oversee Vendor furniture installation plans </li><li>Install & Perform Furniture Modifications as assigned. </li><li>Monitor Inventory items and provide supervisor monthly reports </li><li>Install / Repair furniture as requested </li><li>create preliminary floor plans in AutoCAD as assigned </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications This is a labor class position. Trades Generalist must have four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled journey level worker which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program.
