Our dairy cooperative is seeking a regular, full-time Butter Machine Operator for third shift (11pm-7am). The Butter Operator will operate butter packaging equipment in an efficient and sanitary manner. Follow and understand production schedule and maintain facility in a sanitary manner, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors and ceilings. Restock butter packaging materials to meet production and maintain materials in an appropriate, orderly fashion.</p> <p>Position responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule flexibility -- willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotate shift, as required based on business needs. </li><li>Operate, understand and troubleshoot butter packaging equipment including processing machinery and case packaging equipment. </li><li>Machine adjustments to meet required specifications. </li><li>Operate and set printers to ensure that U.S.D.A.# and "Sell By" dates are correct. </li><li>Ensure that proper packaging is used for each production item. </li><li>Complete and record necessary information on proper logs legibly, verifying that all required documents are filled out properly and are accurate in accordance with Safety and SQF procedures. </li></ul> <p>Preferred candidates would have current or previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
