Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Entry-level or Associate Fabrication Specialist to join the team based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.</p> <p>We are committed to providing our team equal growth opportunities in a stable work environment. They are encouraged to share externally with each Boeing customer to build balanced work relationships.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks </li><li>Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks </li><li>Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components </li><li>Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains </li><li>Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products </li><li>Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products </li><li>Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests </li><li>Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation </li><li>Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements </li><li>Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience </li><li>Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation </li><li>Ability to lift up to 35 pounds </li><li>Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools) </li><li>Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Total Rewards</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
