This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through high-quality instruction, consistent collaboration, and the cultivation of a structured and engaging learning environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create and maintain a focused, well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver Core Knowledge curriculum and lesson plans with fidelity and effectiveness</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and document student progress regularly, using both daily and weekly metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with colleagues during weekly grade-level and Teacher Assistance Team (TAT) meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Attend IEP meetings and ensure timely completion of related documentation, implementing accommodations for students with IEPs and 504 Plans</p> </li><li> <p>Lead peer practice sessions (as assigned) for 30 minutes each week</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct four parent-teacher conferences annually (two in the fall, two in the spring)</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in key school events, including Back to School Night and open houses</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise assigned duties during morning arrival, lunch/recess, and afternoon dismissal</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold and enforce all school policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Complete additional responsibilities as directed by grade-level leaders or the school's Leadership Team</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>COVID-19 vaccinations are not required for employment at MVRCS.</p>
