<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Support in Denver, CO.</p> <p>Summary: The Application Support is responsible for supporting and facilitating the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of software applications within our organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that applications meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application functionality, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p> <p>Key Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for regional application systems analysis, support and programming activities </li><li>Manages the activities of applications systems analysis and programming personnel </li><li>Defines project scope and objectives, provides direction and guidance, reviews project requests, assigns personnel to various projects </li><li>Develops work plans, schedules tasks to be completed, provides project hardware cost analysis, and timely status reporting </li><li>Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis </li><li>Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables </li><li>Recommends and takes action to direct analysis and solution of problems </li><li>Coordinates related departmental activities between users, client services and technical personnel </li><li>Reviews and evaluates work of subordinates and prepares performance evaluations </li><li>Provides input to policy level direction regarding standards, security and quality assurance </li><li>Controls expenses and responsible for meeting budget goals and objectives </li><li>Directs staff to complete assigned projects within scheduled targets; Work with IS staff to ensure tasks are assigned and completed as required </li><li>Prepare project status reports and coordinate activities and priorities with Users* Independent decisions are required in order to determine the best method to complete assigned tasks; The person in this position has latitude in developing a plan to reach the desired results </li><li>Substantial mental effort with significant interruptions and priority changes; Must be a team oriented, self-motivated </li><li>3 plus years of supervisory experience is preferred </li><li>3 plus years of experience with personal computers and MS-Office applications are preferred </li><li>3 plus years of project management experience is preferred </li><li>Proven experience may be substituted for certification where appropriate </li></ul>
