<p>Grant Administration & Financial Management</p> <ul> <li>Maintain grant accounts, track fund distributions, and ensure accurate financial documentation across multiple partner organizations. </li><li>Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of expenditures to ensure funds are properly used and reported. </li><li>Monitor grant budgets, identify unencumbered balances, and prepare financial summaries for management review. </li><li>Review fiscal reports submitted by external partners and reconcile them against internal records and payment systems. </li></ul> <p>Program Coordination & Compliance Support</p> <ul> <li>Support program participants and partner agencies with onboarding, account setup, and required financial processes. </li><li>Provide guidance on grant requirements, compliance expectations, reporting timelines, and documentation standards. </li><li>Serve as a liaison between program leadership, fiscal staff, and other government entities to ensure aligned processes and timely issue resolution. </li></ul> <p>Data Management & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Track grant agreements, reporting deadlines, and program commitments to ensure accurate and timely processing. </li><li>Maintain organized digital and physical records of agreements, approvals, budgets, and financial audits. </li><li>Compile financial and program data to inform budgeting decisions, cost analyses, and leadership reports. </li></ul> <p>Operational Support & Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Participate in meetings, trainings, and process updates to stay current on program changes, funding requirements, and system updates. </li><li>Assist with special projects aimed at improving program efficiency, financial accuracy, or partner support. </li><li>Travel as needed to support program operations and partner engagement. </li></ul> <p>Position will be staffed out of one of the following locations:</p> <p>Hancock County (ODNR - Wildlife District 2 Office)</p> <p>952 Lima Avenue</p> <p>Findlay, Ohio 45840</p> <p>Hardin County (Hardin SWCD Office)</p> <p>950 W. Kohler Street</p> <p>Kenton, Ohio 43326</p> <p>Richland County (Richland SWCS Office)</p> <p>1495 W Longview Avenue</p> <p>Mansfield, Ohio 44906</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a field such as business administration, accounting, finance, public administration, or a closely related area; </li><li>30 months of experience in fiscal management, grant administration, financial reporting, or account reconciliation </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <p>Candidates with the following background will be especially competitive:</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing or supporting grants, incentive programs, or publicly funded projects. </li><li>Strong skills in financial reconciliation, budget monitoring, and interpreting financial data. </li><li>Familiarity with public-sector financial systems, procurement platforms, or vendor registration systems (e.g., state accounting systems, supplier onboarding platforms). </li><li>Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholder groups such as local agencies, partner organizations, or program participants. </li><li>Ability to interpret and explain program requirements, compliance rules, and documentation standards. </li><li>Proficiency using spreadsheets, financial tracking tools, or database systems for reporting and analysis. </li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple deadlines. </li><li>Experience working in a collaborative, service-oriented environment. </li></ul>
