<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Engineer in North Haven, CT.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Project Engineer will lead and perform the structural design of bridges and related transportation structures (e.g., Girders, Deck, Substructure, Foundations, Retaining Walls, etc.) </li><li>Prepare and review engineering calculations, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates </li><li>Perform structural analysis and load rating using industry-standard software (e.g., LARSA 4D, STADD, MathCAD PRIME, MIDAS) </li><li>Coordinate with project managers, CAD staff, and other discipline leads to ensure timely project completion </li><li>As a Project Engineer, you will conduct field inspections and assessments of existing structures; prepare condition evaluation reports </li><li>Assist with proposal writing, budgeting, and client presentations </li><li>Ensure designs adhere to applicable codes and standards (AASHTO, AREMA, LRFD, local DOT guidelines)* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, (Master's preferred) </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license a plus </li><li>5+ years of bridge design experience, preferably on DOT or public infrastructure projects </li><li>Proficiency in structural analysis/design software and MicroStation/AutoCAD </li><li>Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, materials, and construction methods </li><li>Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Experience in FEA and complex analysis a plus </li></ul>
