Our Nurse team provides direct nursing care to our resident senior citizens, and helps to oversee the caregiving efforts of our Quality of Life Specialists/Caregivers to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide nursing care according to physicians' orders and in compliance with recognized nursing practices, established standards, and administrative policies. </li><li>Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and actively promote an independent lifestyle with residents. </li><li>Identify and report changes in residents' medical and behavioral condition. Participate in the development and monitoring of resident care plans according to their assessed needs. </li><li>Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents, and help to coordinate nursing care with other departments, agencies, or participants in the residents' caregiving teams. </li><li>Provide daily status reports to the Director of Health Services about community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies to promote communication and collaboration in resident care. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>Current valid Illinois nursing license (LPN or RN). </li><li>Passion for helping people in a compassionate and empathetic way. </li><li>Ability to collaborate as part of a care team. </li><li>Experience working with senior citizens preferred. </li><li>Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies in our community. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: Starting at $36.00/hr, depending on experience.</p> <p>Benefits: Part-time employees working a certain number of hours per week are eligible for some benefits options, including some health / dental / vision choices, life and disability insurance, retirement plan with matching contributions, and an employee assistance program.</p> <p>Work Schedule: Evening second shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.).</p> <p>Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
