<p>We are seeking a qualified Lead Framer for our operations in Whitmire, SC. The primary function is to manufacture round stock product to established specification in a productive, efficient and safe manner.</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate production assignments to frame poles, piles and round products to specifications </li><li>Schedule and coordinate processing of multiple orders simultaneously </li><li>Interprets specifications and framing prints to manufacture poles and round wood products </li><li>Inspects and verifies quality and classification of all round stock to ANSI, ASTM or Corporate standards </li><li>Operates hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment </li><li>Documents and reports material processed </li><li>Maintains tools, equipment, supplies and work area </li><li>Assists in inspection of all round stock products </li><li>Assists in receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information </li><li>Assists in operation of full length and deep incisor as required </li><li>Operates pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags as required </li><li>Participates and contributes to company safety program </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: High school diploma or GED </li><li>Experience: Minimum of 3 years of framing experiences, minimum one year leadership experience </li><li>License/Certification: N/A </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of ANSI standards preferred </li><li>Expert knowledge of power tools required </li><li>Knowledge of grading, defect, species </li></ul>
