<p>Senior Office Solutions Specialist</p> <p>POSITION PROFILE</p> <p>Role Overview:</p> <p>The Senior Office Solutions Specialist will call on existing Ricoh accounts with the primary objective of retaining the existing customer base and expanding Ricoh's product and services footprint. This sales position is 100% telephone-focused and requires a minimum of 30 daily outbound calls/activities. The Sr. Account Executive must maintain accurate and up-to-date RForce notes on potential opportunities inside the account. The position could be expanded to include ZBA, lead generation, or other projects as required in the future.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Drive sales in the SMB customer space with a telephone-based sales approach. </li><li>Make a minimum of 30 business-to-business telephone calls/activities per day. </li><li>Conduct outbound sales calls to existing customers, focusing on customer retention and expansion of Ricoh's equipment and services offerings. </li><li>Engage in customer-focused selling, communication, and objection handling. </li><li>Deliver prepared sales talking points that describe products or services. </li><li>Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service to all customers. </li><li>Meet or exceed equipment and services revenue and placement expectations. </li><li>Maintain records of account activity within the "RForce" sales database. </li><li>Serve as the first line of contact with customers. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications):</p> <ul> <li>4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related sales environment. </li><li>At least 2 years of telephone-based business-to-business successful account management and account development experience. </li><li>Minimum of 6 months Ricoh sales experience. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of sales methodologies and processes. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and "think on your feet." </li><li>Coachability and responsibility. </li><li>Ability to stay consistently motivated. </li><li>Team player with proficient negotiating skills, written and oral communication abilities. </li><li>Demonstrated business acumen and account planning. </li><li>Highly self-motivated and able to manage time effectively. </li><li>Proficient ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work. </li><li>Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Works in a typical office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level. </li><li>Communicates daily and weekly with the department. </li><li>Work assignments are highly diversified, with new alternatives regularly developed. There is often no precedent established for problems encountered. </li><li>Work requires constant substantive involvement in stressful situations causing considerable strain on a regular basis. </li><li>Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects. </li><li>Requires moderate dexterity; regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, telephone, headset, hand tools, eye/hand coordination). </li></ul> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
