Sylvamo offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits including health care, life insurance, disability income, gainsharing, holidays, vacation, 401K and retiree savings.</p> <p>Electrical & Instrumentation Journeyman Maintenance Technician</p> <p>Hourly pay rate is $36.65 - $38.92 starting pay with opportunity to progress</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>5 years or more experience working in the E&I field; DCS, PLC, Electric Drive, and Power Distribution Systems </li><li>Outstanding troubleshooting, communications and interpersonal skills </li><li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Willingness to work any shift or schedule </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Associate Degree in Electrical-Instrumentation Technology, Mechatronics, or related field </li><li>Working experience in process industrial maintenance </li><li>Demonstrated troubleshooting skills, operating in a team environment </li></ul> <p>PLUS: Must be willing to meet the following requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment </li><li>Submit an official transcript from the program you have successfully completed as a condition of employment </li><li>Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment. </li><li>Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule </li><li>Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification </li><li>Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis </li><li>Wear required safety equipment </li><li>Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection) </li></ul> <p>Apply on line at Sylvamo.com</p>
