We are passionate about building a community where mental health matters and equitable care is accessible to all races, ethnicities, abilities, socioeconomic statuses, ages, sexual orientations, gender expressions, religions, cultures, and languages.</p> <p>The purpose of the Outpatient Restoration Program is to provide competency restoration education services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system and deemed by a court to be incompetent to proceed. Core Responsibilities include serving as the Jefferson Center point of contact with the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) for referrals; providing education services including instruction on Basic Legal Knowledge and Rational Decision Making; and providing monthly reports as required by the Behavioral Health Administration.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as point of contact to receive referrals from BHA for Competency Restoration Services </li><li>Provide documented outreach efforts within 3 business days of receipt of referral </li><li>Schedule initial intake with each referral within 10 business days of receipt of referral </li><li>Provide initial appointment with client within 14 business days of receipt of referral </li><li>Provide culturally competent and developmentally appropriate restoration education services to meet individual needs </li><li>Meet individually or in group setting a minimum of 2 x week to provide education sessions </li><li>Provide services in outpatient setting in community </li><li>Utilize all elements of the competency restoration program curriculum provided by BHA </li><li>Individualize training elements to meet the needs of the person, including social skills training, cognitive training and communication skills training </li><li>Participate in training using BHA approved Competency Restoration Education Curricula </li><li>Participate in BHA quarterly conference calls for information sharing/training/education </li><li>Submit monthly status report regarding restoration education for each client </li><li>Submit closing report within BHA defined timelines </li><li>Participate in regularly scheduled supervision, and utilize supervision/consultation as needed </li><li>Participate in oversight of data outcomes/reporting for new program </li><li>Exhibit enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility and spirit of cooperation in the work environment </li><li>Maintain effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, supervisors, management, visitors and the general public </li><li>Effectively respond to consumer needs and problems, initiate and maintain positive interactions, timely responses to phone calls, email and all other requests </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Educate Jefferson Center staff and other key agencies about the program as directed </li><li>Adhere to OBH Performance Outcomes Measures and Reporting Processes </li><li>Attend mandatory in-services, trainings, staffings and consultations as scheduled </li><li>Complete required on-line training as assigned and within timelines provided </li><li>Report high risk and problem cases, utilize a problem-solving approach as well as feedback </li></ul> <p>Note: Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job. This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.</p> <p>Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:</p> <ul> <li>Masters' Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology/Forensics or related field with one-year related experience or training. </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors' Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Forensics with two years related experience. </li><li>Bi-lingual preferred but not required </li><li>Computer skills (Excel, Word, email, etc.) required </li></ul> <p>Salary Grade 50 - Bachelor's Degree $55,000 ($26.45/hr)</p> <p>Salary Grade 51-Master's Unlicensed Clinician $57,000 - $64,000*</p> <p>Additional Salary Information*:</p> <ul> <li>The salary range above is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week.
