<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Technology</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/4/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Haddon Heights Jr./Sr. High School</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Haddon Heights School District</p> <p>Haddon Heights, NJ</p> <p>Network Engineer</p> <p>Full-time 12-Month Position with Medical Benefits</p> <p>Salary $55,000 to $65,000</p> <p>Anticipated start date: January 5, 2026</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field</p> <p>Certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and Cisco CCNA</p> <p>Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license and insurance card, and a good driving record as demonstrated by a review of the same by the Board of Education's insurance carrier</p> <p>PRIMARY FUNCTION: To design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the computer networks throughout the district</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Technology Coordinator</p> <p>MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Installs network cabling, performs cable terminations, and maintains MDF/IDFs</p> <p>Configures, tests, and maintains servers, switches, wireless access points, security camera systems, and other related network infrastructure equipment</p> <p>Installs firmware and security updates on servers, switches, and related networking equipment</p> <p>Configures and maintains Active Directory and associated group policy objects</p> <p>Configures and maintains IPS/IDS, next-gen firewalls, and EDR system</p> <p>Oversees installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices</p> <p>Responsible for software deployments as well as updates/patches to workstations</p> <p>Maintains the golden images used for workstation image deployment</p> <p>Manages MDM solution for all district owned mobile devices</p> <p>Plans, recommends, and assists in the design of local or remote computer systems</p> <p>Oversees the day-to-day operation of the computer networks including LAN-to-LAN/WAN systems; evaluates system performance and recommends solutions</p> <p>Assists in maintaining security of the district's routers and servers from unauthorized intrusion by either physical or by remote electronic means</p> <p>Researches and recommends network hardware and software</p> <p>Travels between schools or locations to provide in-person support; reliable transportation is necessary</p> <p>Performs other duties which may be within the scope of their employment and certifications as may be assigned by the superintendent or designee</p> <p>Please submit an application, letter of interest, and resume through the Haddon Heights School District Employment website.
