<p>Starting compensation: $24.00 per hour (plus a $1.50 shift differential)</p> <p>Shift Details: Sunday to Thursday, 12PM to Finish,</p> <p>Shamrock anticipates closing the application window for this job opportunity on or before December 31, 2025</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <p>This position is responsible for cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats to portion and prepare meat in cooking form.</p> <ul> <li>Cutting, trimming, and boning carcass sections or prime cuts to reduce to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meat </li><li>Cutting and weighing steaks and chops for individual servings </li><li>Shaping and tying roasts </li><li>Recording quantity of meat received and issued to cutters </li><li>Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>Two-three years related experience and/or training </li><li>Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift </li><li>Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds </li><li>Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds </li><li>Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds </li></ul> <p>Corporate Summary:</p> <p>At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first - our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
