<p>South Middle School is seeking a Daily Substitute Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year. This position is for one year only.</p> <p>The building substitute will be expected to provide direct instruction and other educational services to students on a daily basis, rather than to assume merely a student-supervisory role. The building substitute will be assigned responsibilities daily by the school administration based on the needs of the building, and will be provided with as much support as possible to effectively fulfill these responsibilities.</p> <p>South Middle School is a public middle school that uses a team model to educate all learners in grades 5-8 through rigorous academics and a focus on positive social growth. The school is a state-of-the-art building, opened in 2023 with top-of-the-line technology and instructional spaces designed for collaboration and modern education. It is a healthy working environment, with modern fit and finishes and a natural aesthetic to support physical and emotional health.
