<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Will complete treatments per initial evaluation completed by a physical therapist; monitor response to treatment and modify treatment appropriately; attend designated clinics, rounds and conferences and render patient information; complete appropriate documentation. Other responsibilities include: providing in-service education and community education within the scope of knowledge base, clinically supervise PTA SL1, PTA students, rehab therapy USTs, and volunteers.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Associates degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, NYS License or eligible and two years eligible clinical experience required.</p> <p>Candidates who possess an Associates degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, NYS licensure or Limited Permit or eligible and less than 2 years experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position at commensurate salary.</p> <p>CPR certification required by time of appointment.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday - Friday rotating holidays and weekends</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>Accepting Physical Therapist Assistant applications for current and future openings in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Rehab Therapies.</p> <p>Recruitment Office: Human Resources</p>
