<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Continuing Education Program Developer is responsible for creating, managing and growing non-credit, professional development programs to expand the current offerings within the Professional Coaching portfolio. The Program Developer will work closely with the Director of Coach Education to ensure that all offerings are in alignment with ICF standards and accreditation requirements. The Program Developer will collaborate with the Director of Education to hire, evaluate, contract with, and support instructors. Candidates who meet the ICF qualifications as Director of Education may act as both the Program Developer and the Director of Education. The Program Developer will conduct ongoing market, competition, and industry analysis to keep programs current and relevant. They will also determine appropriate course modalities based on audience preferences and needs. Key responsibilities include portfolio management, creating budgets, identifying subject management experts (SME), and supporting SME to ensure high quality programming. Additional responsibilities include supporting: the planning and scheduling of courses, marketing efforts, and administrative functions related to the coaching programs.</p> <p>(30%): Implement non-credit continuing education programming</p> <ul> <li>Develop new courses courses/programs/certificates to complement current offerings </li><li>Work with other areas within the Division of Continuing Studies to support marketing, administrative, and course development efforts </li><li>Work closely with individual learners and organizations </li><li>Work with the Director of Education to ensure that the programs are aligned with ICF requirements </li></ul> <p>(10%): Develop and implement operating policies</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement training for instructors and staff </li><li>Document business and growth plans during the yearly planning cycle and throughout the fiscal year </li></ul> <p>(30%): Review recommendations and market research for new program development</p> <ul> <li>Identify growth areas through market research and analysis that reflect the changing needs of program participants. </li><li>Plan and deliver a portfolio of courses/certificates based on market needs </li><li>Maintain portfolio of courses, review course evaluation and assessments </li><li>Request research and gather information to guide portfolio development </li></ul> <p>(10%): May monitor budgets and approve expenditures</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and report program financials and enrollment trends to noncredit leadership as needed </li><li>Specific areas of responsibility include program plans/budgets, maintaining the portfolio of courses </li></ul> <p>(20%): Curriculum curation and instructional support</p> <ul> <li>Identify and support qualified instructors </li><li>Coordinate overall structure of programming to meet learner needs </li><li>Provide training for instructors as needed for online delivery of curriculum or other best practices for adult instruction </li><li>Ongoing evaluation of programs </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Provides guidance for program planning, implementation, and evaluation, and/or supervises non-credit staff. Applies and implements tools and technology that support continuing education opportunities to the institution.</p> <ul> <li>30% Supervises the implementation of non-credit continuing education-focused strategic planning initiatives and objectives </li><li>10% Develops and implements operating policies and procedures to promote the non-credit program in alignment with the strategic plan </li><li>10% May monitor the unit or program budget and approve program expenditures </li><li>30% Reviews recommendations for and provides input on the design and development of new non-credit programs or services </li><li>5% Identifies subject matter experts to create course materials and teach courses in alignment with ICF standards </li><li>5% Monitors market research data to identify sustainable programming </li><li>10% If ICF qualifications for Director of Education are met, oversees the curriculum, training, instruction, and assessment processes to ensure compliance with ICF standards and accreditation requirements </li></ul> <p>Institutional Statement on Diversity:</p> <p>Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.
