<p>SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Schreiner University is seeking a dynamic, flexible, and highly organized Administrative Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in supporting Academic Affairs. This individual will be an enthusiastic team member committed to academic success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior customer service, strong communication and organizational skills, and a high level of professionalism while managing multiple priorities in support of strategic university initiatives.</p> <p>This position reports directly to the Dean of Academic Excellence in Academic Affairs and with guidance from the Dean provides operational, administrative, programming, engagement, event planning, report collation, and budget support for the Center of Excellence for Achievement and Learning Support (CEALS), Office of Student Success, Office of Career Services, the Schreiner Experience (Meaningful Work, Changing Global Society, Purposeful Lives), grants, special projects, the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, and University Ministry.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Support the daily operations for the Dean of Academic Excellence. </li><li>Coordinate and manage schedule for the Dean of Academic Excellence. </li><li>Prepare meeting materials, attend meetings, assemble minutes, and record key takeaways and/or action items. </li><li>Purchase, maintain, and organize office supplies, logistics, and materials. </li><li>Serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality. </li><li>Draft, proofread, and prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports. </li><li>Coordinate communications across units and offices. </li><li>Collate reports, collaborating with the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, from all with direction and guidance from the Dean of Academic Excellence. Must have experience with basic data tasks such as pulling Canvas reports and formatting Excel sheets. </li><li>Plan and manage logistics for annual programs and events, such as the Honors Program, distinguished lecture series, and scholarships with direction and guidance from the Dean of Academic Excellence. </li><li>Collaborate with campus partners on supporting student retention and success with direction and guidance from the Dean of Academic Excellence. </li><li>Track and reconcile budgets, expenditures, and reimbursements. </li><li>Prepare and process purchase orders, vendor contracts, requisition requests, and related spending, as well as work orders. </li><li>Ensure financial activities align with university policies. </li><li>Support travel logistics. </li><li>Plan and coordinate special projects/events/programs as needed. </li><li>Represent the university at functions and events. </li><li>Support the Center of Excellence for Achievement and Learning Support (CEALS), Office of Student Success, Office of Career Services, the Schreiner Experience (Meaningful Work, Changing Global Society, Purposeful Lives) as needed. </li><li>Support University Ministry as needed for collaborative projects or programs. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>2-4 years experience in administration, project coordination, program management </li><li>Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Google Sheets, LMS platforms, Qualtrics, Zoom, etc. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks </li><li>Ability to accomplish tasks independently and with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to work as a team member </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in education, higher education administration, or related field </li><li>3-5 years of experience in higher education </li><li>Prior experience working in a professional office environment </li><li>Experience in data analysis </li></ul> <p>Apply for Job</p>
