From operational leadership and crew planning to safety and service procedures, our Inflight Services team provides the innovative approaches, tools, training and guidance needed for our flight attendants to deliver the best possible customer experience, and aid in our mission to become the best airline in the history of aviation.</p> <p>Job overview and responsibilities</p> <p>Responsible for the ensuring United's $100+ million inventory of food service airline owned assets are managed and maintained to achieve cost and customer satisfaction targets. Assets managed include catering equipment (carts, carriers, etc.), beverages, and food products. Manages the equipment inventory and ordering system, movement of equipment in/out of catering locations and allocation of supplies for over 142 catering locations. Provides oversight for training, management of special projects, team leadership and strategy development, as well as financial planning.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Inventory Management, Analysis & Logistics - Oversees the distribution and control process of all company owned catering related products including food, beverage, equipment and alcohol. Ensure proper controls are in place and the product moves through the supply chain efficiently. Establishes worldwide distribution channels as required by United's global network and expansion.</p> </li><li> <p>Vendor Management - Manage the day-to-day relationships and performance of key suppliers and distributors. Ensure vendor/partners meet performance standards and takes corrective actions as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Financial Control - Partner with internal stakeholders and provide oversight for informational systems and requirements to support all distribution assets control.
