ADUSA Procurement is part of the Ahold Delhaize USA family of brands, which also includes five leading omnichannel grocery brands - Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.</p> <p>Responsible for partnering across all ADUSA Brands to evaluate appropriate avenues to achieve optimal value (cost + quality) for the category assortment. Responsible for delivering all corporate wide Fresh COGs and savings budget planning and execution. Ensures that cross brand Fresh Category teams are educated on market influences & aligned with end-to-end cost and supplier selection strategies. Responsible for driving connectivity across Fresh Category for all ADUSA brands, PDL, RBS, and internal & external partners (including suppliers, Supply Chain, Finance, Economists, Sustainability, etc.) to leverage size and scale and optimize performance & savings opportunities.</p> <p>Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME</p> <p>Essential job functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Thought partner and/or lead across all brands on assortment, specs, supplier selection, packaging & supply chain implications, and Financials/Margin Management</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and interpret basic Commodity Market impacts & other market influences (ie. tariffs, pandemics, etc.) and partner with the Commodity Strategists on relevant impacts to current contracts and/or upcoming events.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain market surveillance and develop plans to maintain and/or gain competitive advantages thru appropriate timing for execution and/or support of Sourcing events.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan & execute RFPs</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for (1) providing all necessary input for the preparation of Fresh contracts (MSAs, PLMSAs, CRCs, Schedules, etc.) & (2) accountable for the final documentation review/approval</p> </li><li> <p>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment </li></ul> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of industry and suppliers </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Presentation skills (both developing the story & delivering it)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Conflict management skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to influence others without authority </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2+ years of related Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, & vendor management experience (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Change Management</p> </li><li> <p>Project Management/Facilitation</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to P&L management, language, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Mastery of Microsoft suite</p> </li></ul> <p>ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560</p> <p>IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480</p> <p>All ADUSA job offers take multiple factors into consideration including, but not limited to salary range, internal equity, a candidate's qualifications, geographic region, job-related knowledge and skills.</p> <p>This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <p>#LI-BB1</p> <p>At Ahold Delhaize USA, we provide services to one of the largest portfolios of grocery companies in the nation, and we're actively seeking top talent.</p> <p>Our team shares a common motivation to drive change, take ownership and enable our brands to better care for their customers.
