<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support a company focused on delivering resilient, secure network operations for Department of Defense mission partners. This position is on-site at Scott AFB, IL or Hill AFB, UT. The Network Controller will provide 24/7 monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management across a global transport and IP network environment. This role directly supports mission-critical communications for warfighters and national defense operations worldwide</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Network Controller include:</p> <ul> <li>Monitoring and troubleshooting network circuits using router commands, alarms, loops, and error analysis </li><li>Utilizing enterprise network monitoring tools to identify, track, resolve, and escalate network incidents </li><li>Supporting live global transport and IP network operations in a 24/7 environment </li><li>Creating, updating, and managing incident tickets using Remedy </li><li>Researching documentation and network data to resolve monitoring and performance issues </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications for the Network Controller include:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in network operations, fault management, alarm surveillance, or NOC environments </li><li>Experience with networking technologies including routers, switches, crypto devices, LAN/WAN, and transport systems (Cisco, Juniper, optical networking preferred) </li><li>Strong understanding of network topologies, routing, and performance management </li><li>High school diploma (additional directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of higher education) </li><li>Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance </li><li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at start date </li><li>Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Network Controller include:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience </li><li>Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law </li></ul> <p>#LI-JB1</p> <p>Keywords: Network Controller, NOC, Network Operations, DoD Networks, Secret Clearance, IAT Level II, Security+, Cisco, Juniper, Transport Networks, IP Networks, SATCOM, JRSS, Incident Management, Fault Management, Remedy, Defense Communications</p>
