<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position will facilitate HEP enrollments and maintain technical competence and working relationships with college partners and other staff. Duties include assisting current and potential students through the HEP enrollment, registration and financial aid processes; arrange orientation, informational sessions, assist with tutoring, technical and computer troubleshooting. This position serves as the primary point of contact for HEP technology devices and perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The starting pay is between $30.01 and $35.06 per hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. The pay schedule/range is 13-04. The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.</p> <p>The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency to employment.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants will meet at least one of the four criteria listed below:</p> <p>1) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Elementary Education -OR-</p> <p>2) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Secondary Education in the area of English, Math, Reading, Science, or Social Studies -OR-</p> <p>3) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Special Education -OR-</p> <p>4) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) with 15 combined semester credits in English, Math, Reading, Science, or Social Studies.</p> <ul> <li>Note: This does not include Health, Art, Music, or Physical Education for any of the above areas. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>This application requires submission of a resume and your Bachelor's Degree college transcripts.
