<p>Position:</p> <ul> <li>Head Coach - Varsity Boys Basketball </li><li>2025 - 2026 school year </li></ul> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The head coach must have a commitment to the philosophy of providing a structured, developmentally appropriate, and an increasingly competitive program built on the foundation of education-based athletics. The applicant must understand the role that interscholastic athletics play in the total school program and the impact on the social, emotional and intellectual development of the student. The head coach will be expected to exemplify high moral character, behavior, and leadership, adhering to strong ethical and integrity standards. The head coach will abide by and teach the rules of the game in spirit and set a good example for players and spectators to follow, teach/display good sportsmanship, treat players, opponents and officials with dignity and respect, instill good habits and training rules, and maintain the highest level of responsibility and behavior that is expected of all Lordstown Local School District employees.
