<p>Overview:</p> <p>CMTA is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer or Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our growing team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Senior Plumbing Engineer on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. If you're ready to take the next step in your engineering career, we'd love to hear from you.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design complete plumbing systems for commercial buildings, including calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and isometric riser diagrams </li><li>Develop layouts for domestic hot/cold water systems, waste/vent piping, and storm drainage </li><li>Determine preliminary fire protection and domestic water demands based on building types </li><li>Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and schematics </li><li>Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineers in meetings and throughout project phases </li><li>Prepare electronic responses to RFIs and design reviews </li><li>Guide and mentor junior staff in design best practices </li><li>Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design documents and applicable codes </li><li>Research and apply standard engineering techniques for system layout, equipment selection, and pipe sizing </li><li>Evaluate design proposals for feasibility, cost, and maintenance considerations </li><li>Ensure designs meet code requirements and sustainability guidelines (LEED, WELL, etc.) </li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and attention to project needs </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of plumbing design experience in the commercial building sector </li><li>Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD </li><li>Strong knowledge of plumbing codes </li><li>Strong knowledge of plumbing systems design, including calculations and documentation </li></ul> <p>No sponsorship is available for this position.</p> <p>#LI-AC1 #LI-Onsite</p> <p>Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)</p>
