<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Audiologist provides audiology services in clinic locations for individuals of all ages. Ensures services meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluates hearing sensitivity and acuity using appropriate evidence-based procedures. </li><li>Provides management, consultation, and follow-up recommendations for individuals demonstrating disorders in auditory communication. </li><li>Selects, orders, and fits individuals with appropriate ear mold(s), hearing aid(s), or assistive technology. </li><li>Serves as a supervisor for student clinicians. </li><li>Participates in local health fairs and community education seminars. </li><li>Produces written reports and maintains appropriate chart notes on all individuals within the same day of service. </li><li>Monitors accuracy and completeness of files. Maintains accurate and complete records in the electronic medical record. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have Doctorate of Audiology (AuD). </li><li>Must have, or obtain within 90 days, state license and maintain current licensure. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position primarily works weekday daytime hours. May work evenings or weekends depending on the needs of the organization. </li><li>This position requires driving personal vehicle for meetings and community events. </li><li>Must have reliable vehicle and maintain current driver's license and proof of insurance. </li><li>Must complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications. </li><li>Must maintain confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. </li></ul>
