What you'll do as a Top Hand. Assist the foreman in planning and executing daily work activities on wireless tower sites. Climb towers and perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of antennas, radios, coax, fiber, and related equipment. Ensure crew adherence to safety protocols, fall protection requirements, and company policies. Mentor and train junior tower technicians and green hands. Read and interpret construction drawings, RF data sheets, and scopes of work. Install and route coaxial cable, fiber, connectors, grounding, and weatherproofing. Conduct testing (sweep, PIM, fiber, and other required tests) and document results. Operate, maintain, and inspect rigging gear, hoists, and other tools. Communicate progress and challenges to the foreman and project manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment on job sites. What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company You have a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License 2+ years of tower climbing and wireless construction experience. Demonstrated leadership ability on tower crews. Proficiency with installation and troubleshooting of wireless systems (LTE, 5G, microwave, etc.). Knowledge of rigging practices and safe tower climbing procedures. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel extensively and work in varying weather conditions. Physical abilities & exposures You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance You are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call You are able to maintain a safe work environment You are able to work in all weather conditions Salary Range $22-$27/hr Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
