You'll operate material handling equipment, execute inventory transactions, and partner with operations to support a high-performance manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.</p> <p>This position will work in our Saint Francis, Wisconsin warehouse location near our South Milwaukee facility.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Safely move, stage, and deliver raw material, components, and finished goods to support production flow and shipping schedules. </li><li>Perform shipping/receiving activities including unloading/loading, verifying counts, and preparing materials for storage or line-side delivery. </li><li>Execute inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers) and support cycle count activities to maintain inventory accuracy. </li><li>Operate and inspect material handling equipment (e.g., forklift / powered industrial truck, pallet jack); complete pre-use checks and report concerns. </li><li>Identify material discrepancies or constraints, apply basic problem-solving, and escalate issues to keep production on track. </li><li>Maintain organized, safe work areas using 5S practices; follow all site safety rules and standard work. </li><li>Support continuous improvement by suggesting process and layout improvements that reduce waste and improve flow. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>One or more years of forklift experience heavier than 11,000 lb. capacity.</p> </li><li> <p>Warehouse experience - understanding packing slips and auditing material to ensure in proper place.</p> </li><li> <p>Shipping experience - understanding how to package loose components in a crate for domestic and international shipments and secure and block large pieces upwards of 8,000 lb to a skid</p> </li><li> <p>Experience loading and unloading trucks.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to track inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well individually or in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility to work overtime to support production demands.</p> </li></ul> <p>Please ensure you frequently check the email account you provided on your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method in our recruiting process.</p> <p>Caterpillar is not currently hiring foreign national applicants that require or will require sponsorship tied to a specific employer, such as H, L, TN, F, J, E, O.
