<p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the</p> <p>essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Makes scheduled rounds inside buildings, noting security hazards and responding as </li></ul> <p>necessary.</p> <ul> <li>Makes scheduled rounds outside of buildings to insure a secure environment for </li></ul> <p>residents, and their property as well as company property.</p> <ul> <li>Responds to all fire, security and link to life calls. </li><li>Keeps log of equipment, gauges and controls, for dry sprinklers and boilers. </li><li>May be asked to do light maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, touch up painting, </li></ul> <p>etc., as it relates to the safety of the facility.</p> <ul> <li>Provides daily reports and suggestions to supervisor of security. </li><li>Provides protection to late working employees requesting escort to their vehicles. </li><li>Responsible for shoveling and salting sidewalks as needed. </li><li>Checks common areas, phones and checks outside doors throughout the facility are </li></ul> <p>secure.</p> <ul> <li>Responds immediately to all alarms and emergency situations with the Community </li></ul> <p>Care Provider.</p> <ul> <li>Performs CPR and First Responder tasks as required by a situation. </li><li>Accomplishes additional duties as directed and required by supervisors to provide </li></ul> <p>support and assistance to other personnel further assuring complete resident, property</p> <p>and employee safety.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>One year experience in security preferred. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>CPR and First Aid Certification required yearly. </li><li>Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English. </li><li>Must be prompt, honest and reliable. </li><li>Must be able to function in a courteous, friendly, helpful and controlled manner in all </li></ul> <p>situations.</p> <ul> <li>Must demonstrate the ability to operate an AED machine. </li><li>Must demonstrate the ability to read HVAC gauges and to record this information. </li><li>Must demonstrate the ability to understand the functioning of emergency equipment including </li></ul> <p>alarm systems and other emergency communications.</p>
