<p>The Baker is responsible for overseeing the production of all Peppermill baked goods, specialty breads and rolls and desserts.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares consistent and high-quality baked goods, specialty breads, rolls and desserts for all outlets within Peppermill. </li><li>Prepare all bakery items as needed, including breakfast pastries, Danish pastries with fillings, specialty breads and rolls, specialty desserts and show pieces. </li><li>Strives to attain excellence in making our baked products the best in Northern Nevada. </li><li>Checks and maintains all bakery equipment and reports any damaged or broken pieces to management. </li><li>Communicates with management regarding inventory stock levels. </li><li>Assists with maintaining all recipe files and production schedules for all Peppermill bakery items. </li><li>Follows all the sanitation procedures as set by the Company </li><li>Keeps management fully informed of all unsafe/unsanitary conditions, problems or unusual matters. </li><li>Displays superior teamwork abilities and assists fellow culinarians when needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>High school diploma or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate. </li><li>Four or more years in high volume bakery production in Hotel/Casino Restaurant, or Bakery is preferred </li><li>Ability to stand throughout a shift or for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to read/understand English and communicate with co-workers. </li></ul>
