<p>Description</p> <p>Position Summary VITEK System Engineer - The primary responsibility for this position will be performing system verification activities including the creation of plans, protocols, test cases, test case execution, and summary reporting. The secondary responsibilities may include assisting with root cause investigations, feasibility and reliability testing, and general product troubleshooting.</p> <p>Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>System Verification test execution in compliance with bioMérieux procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Create System Verification Plans, Protocols, Test Cases, Test Runs, and summarize the testing results including a trace matrix in compliance with bioMérieux procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with root cause complaint investigations</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with feasibility and/or reliability testing</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education, Training and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree required in biomedical engineering or an engineering related field</p> </li><li> <p>No previous experience required</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Written Communications - including the ability to communicate technical data in written form</p> </li><li> <p>Technically adaptable to quickly understand and acquire new technological knowledge and skills</p> </li><li> <p>Resiliency, being highly adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges</p> </li><li> <p>Thriving in a fast-paced environment by managing tasks, multitasking, and adapting quickly to maintain productivity</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates fundamental awareness and can perform routine tasks with guidance</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods</p> </li><li> <p>Domestic travel required: 5%</p> </li><li> <p>International travel required: 5%</p> </li><li> <p>Total travel: 10%</p> </li><li> <p>Position is in a typical lab setting</p> </li></ul>
