<p>Objective of Role:</p> <p>LaSalle Investment Management is seeking an Analyst to join the portfolio management team on behalf of a large, growing diversified core fund. The Analyst will work directly with all members of the dedicated portfolio team as well across functional groups at LaSalle, including Asset Management, Research & Strategy, and the Transactions teams.</p> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct financial analyses including portfolio cash flow projections, Argus Enterprise valuation models and portfolio level analysis. </li><li>Measure and assess performance against asset level business plans, fund level strategic plans and competitive subset. </li><li>Review and analyze annual operating budgets and quarterly reforecasts prepared by Asset Management. </li><li>Support new initiatives based on market conditions and opportunities including structured products and new asset class investments. </li><li>Assist portfolio team with on property level and fund level financings. Forecast debt compliance. </li><li>Be a resource to sales and marketing teams by answering questions, reviewing marketing materials and presentations, and providing regular updates. </li><li>Opportunities to represent the portfolio and asset management teams in firm-wide projects and gain exposure to senior level executives. </li><li>Contribute and assist in portfolio level analysis and presentation material to the fund Investment Team, the North American Investment Committee, and the fund level Board of Directors. </li><li>Work with other portfolio analysts/associates to develop best practices and design and implement efficiency measures. </li><li>Collaborate and cross train all responsibilities of other portfolio analysts and associates; perform quality control reviews of the team's work product. Cover workload as needed. </li><li>Assist with evaluation of property appraisals from third parties and internal recommendations. </li><li>Provide analytical support to portfolio management team to help make portfolio level decisions. </li><li>Perform detailed quarterly financial statement analysis, review of rent rolls, current and future cash flow and forecasting of both present value and cash flows. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, or economics or related field with strong record of academic achievement </li><li>0 - 2 years of relevant experience </li><li>Highly skilled in modeling investments in Excel; Argus Enterprise experience is preferred </li><li>Knowledge of DCF, NPV and cash flow models </li><li>Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task </li><li>Highly developed verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach </li><li>Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States for a minimum of 5 years </li></ul> <p>Estimated total compensation for this position:</p> <p>90,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD per year</p> <p>The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
