<p>Job Title: Medical Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with patients from start to finish, providing essential support to healthcare providers. It is particularly suited for recent graduates aiming to acquire clinical, scribe, or patient-facing hours before applying to medical school.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support patients from check-in to check-out to ensure a seamless visit. </li><li>Room patients and gather vitals, history, and relevant clinical information. </li><li>Scribe during the visit to accurately document the provider's assessment and plan. </li><li>Present patient information and updates to the physician before the exam. </li><li>Follow up with the provider after each visit to complete orders, referrals, and next steps. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Customer service </li><li>Medical assisting </li><li>Medical terminology </li><li>Health care </li><li>Bachelor's degree required; preferred in pre-med, biology, integrative physiology, or related fields. </li><li>Strong interest in pursuing a future career in healthcare. </li><li>Ability to learn quickly and work closely with providers. </li><li>Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>CCMA certification (with opportunity for raise upon completion) </li><li>Experience with patient care, CMA, EMR, and Epic </li><li>Background in biology and pre-med path </li><li>Scribe and medical assistant experience </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is primarily based in Golden and Westminster, with occasional floating to secondary clinics in Avista, Lakewood, and Longmont. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to follow your assigned provider. The typical workweek is 35-40 hours, providing time for educational pursuits.
