This position will be located in Savannah, GA.</p> <p>You will have the opportunity to work on projects such as coastal, waterfront, and municipal infrastructure improvement and resiliency projects. As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide design support, project management, client management, and business development support. The successful candidate will have strong leadership, project management, and technical engineering skills relating to waterfront / civil engineering projects of various sizes. You can lead the way into a new future for our industry, inspiring the next generation of driven and committed people in the process.</p> <p>Learn about leadership opportunities with GHD.</p> <p>Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with fellow engineers and scientists on a wide range of waterfront / civil engineering projects. </li><li>Contribute to and manage development of technical reports, plans and specifications. </li><li>Interact with clients, suppliers, and regulators and manage projects to successful completion. </li><li>Coordinate and work with cross-discipline teams on other market sector projects. </li><li>Manage permitting and environmental requirements for maritime and coastal projects. </li><li>Maintain open communication with project teams and M&C group members. </li><li>Keep up to date with technical qualifications and licenses. </li><li>Proactively coach, train and empower project team members; handle oversight and maintain project requirements for safety, quality, efficiency to ensure they are maintained throughout the duration of the project. </li><li>Provide mentorship and development advice to junior level staff. </li><li>Grow existing client relationships, across a range of client types (government, private, contractors). </li><li>Support pursuit/proposal efforts, developing scope, schedule and budget. </li><li>Stay current and well advised on M&C market trends, client spending, assets, resiliency and logistics. </li><li>Get involved!
