<p>Job Title: Enterprise Data Governance Lead</p> <p>Location: Suwanee, GA</p> <p>Job Type: Contract to Hire</p> <p>Pay Type: Hourly</p> <p>Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr</p> <p>Onsite Requirement: Hybrid - 4 days per week</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Our client is seeking an Enterprise Data Governance Lead to establish and drive a scalable data governance framework across the organization. This role blends data governance, architecture, and strategic program leadership, focusing on building a long-term, enterprise-wide approach to managing and governing data.</p> <p>This is not a project-based role-it is a program-level leadership position responsible for defining how data governance comes together across domains such as finance, supply chain, procurement, and operations. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, well-defined, and aligned to business objectives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise data governance framework across multiple business domains </li><li>Develop and drive a long-term data governance roadmap, aligning with enterprise architecture and data strategy </li><li>Establish governance standards, policies, and processes for data quality, ownership, and lifecycle management </li><li>Identify and partner with key stakeholders and data owners across domains (finance, supply chain, procurement, etc.) </li><li>Work closely with data stewards to define, document, and manage critical data elements and business definitions </li><li>Support the development and adoption of Master Data Management (MDM) practices and tools </li><li>Align governance efforts with domain-specific roadmaps and initiatives to ensure practical adoption </li><li>Translate business needs into scalable governance structures and processes </li><li>Promote data governance awareness and drive adoption across both business and technical teams </li><li>Collaborate with architecture and data teams to ensure governance is embedded into data platforms and solutions </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data architecture roles </li><li>Proven experience building or scaling enterprise data governance programs (not just project-based work) </li><li>Strong understanding of data domains such as finance, supply chain, procurement, or operations </li><li>Experience working with MDM tools and data governance platforms </li><li>Ability to engage stakeholders across business and technology teams </li><li>Experience defining data standards, policies, and data ownership models </li><li>Strong understanding of how governance aligns with data architecture and enterprise data strategy </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Enterprise environment experience </li><li>Familiarity with data governance tools </li><li>Experience supporting regulatory or compliance-driven data initiatives </li><li>Exposure to data architecture or data platform design </li></ul> <p>BlueSky Resource Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
