This is a well established, busy location with a large membership base. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of management and sales experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa environment. The primary Qualifications and Requirements of this role include, but are not limited to:</p> <p>Retail/sales experience</p> <p>A passion for people and sales</p> <p>High level of enthusiasm</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to balance coaching/mentoring with discipline</p> <p>Strong organizational/planning and computer skills</p> <p>Experience with a booking system is a plus</p> <p>Oversee and manage the daily operations of a busy spa</p> <p>Ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of both massage therapy and facials</p> <p>Handle administrative tasks including but not limited to payroll, scheduling, inventory, and reporting</p> <p>Ability to work flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays</p> <p>Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Cultivates sales performance of the spa and spa associates.<em>Assesses the performance of the spa against goals and plans.</em> Ensures the spa is on track to meet financial goals.<em>Makes crucial business decisions.</em> Completely understands and is responsible for all aspects of daily operations.<em> Maintains a sense of the "big picture."</em> Performs and/or oversees front-desk duties.<em>Ensures all operations are in full compliance with local health and safety codes or other local agency codes.</em>Implements and monitors workplace safety.<em>Monitors sales, costs, and profits.</em> Ensures client services are being carried out and completed in a professional, correct, and efficient manner.<em>Generates all required reports accurately and on time.</em> Monitors quality control in all aspects of operation.<em> Practices excellent client service and ensures employees are doing the same </em>Solves client issues<em> Develops marketing strategies to build the Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa business.
