Play a critical role at one of the world's most iconic financial institutions where security is vital.</p> <p>As a Security Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization, you serve as a seasoned member of a team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. Carry out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, code and test application programming using Java/J2ee, AngularJS/React, Spring/Spring Boot in AWS. </li><li>Create high quality software products for JPMorgan Cyber Defense & Fraud line of business. </li><li>Oversee end to end software development within agile frameworks. </li><li>Perform software maintenance and improvements using knowledge application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines. </li><li>Design and develop scalable applications for cloud. </li><li>Resolve high impact production issues and ensure smooth flow of business applications </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience </li><li>3+ years as full stack engineer with hands-on experience in Java/J2EE </li><li>Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills </li><li>Must have working experience on any of the Spring Framework components like AOP, Integration, MVC, Sprint boot etc </li><li>Experience/Understanding in front end using Angular/React/Vue frameworks, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Javascript, Jquery, JSON </li><li>Experience/Understanding in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure </li><li>Working experience on Spring JDBC, Spring Hibernate ORM and JPA </li><li>Database experience (RDBMS or NoSQL) required </li><li>Experience in designing and developing applications with RESTful Web Services </li><li>Solid understanding of Test Driven Development, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Repository Management (Git) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience/Understanding with messaging (JMS/MQ/Kafka) based integration and microservices is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus </li><li>Jenkins/Bamboo or any CI/CD knowledge is preferred </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Must have good analytical and troubleshooting skills </li></ul>
