Great company culture, office environment, and quick interview process.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$20/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Pre-Underwriter will review mortgage applications, verify financial documents, and analyze whether customers are eligible for mortgage loans.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Pre-Underwriter:</p> <ul> <li>The Pre-Underwriter will verify applicant credit reports, review income statements, tax returns, and other financial documents for customers applying for loans. </li><li>Work to prepare documents to share with the Underwriting team. </li><li>Support the Loan Officers and applicants from start to finish. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Pre-Underwriter:</p> <ul> <li>Must have 1 - 2 years of experience in mortgage processing or underwriting. </li><li>2+ years of previous banking experience required. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Pre-Underwriter:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Consumer Loan underwriting is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
