Learn more about us at worcester.edu/about .</p> <p>Job Description: Title: Curriculum Coordinator RC11 Department: University and Community Engagement Supervisor: Carla Orellana</p> <p>SSTA Approver: Carla Orellana</p> <p>General Statement of Duties:</p> <p>The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for the creation, implementation, and evaluation of youth development programs with a focus on reducing risk factors for urban youth related to problem gambling. This role involves developing interactive curricula, activities, and resources tailored to culturally responsive prevention strategies. Additionally, the Curriculum Coordinator will support youth program staff through staff development initiatives and collaborative program assistance.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Design, implement, and evaluate culturally responsive youth prevention programming.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and deliver lesson plans, timelines, and tools for curriculum delivery aligned with grant requirements and developmental needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate regular staff development and coaching to ensure high-quality program delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and submit monthly reports on program activities and outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote youth and family participation and engagement within the program.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a mandated reporter. Reporting any suspicion of child abuse or neglect in collaboration with supervisor and compliance procedure for follow-through.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned, including occasional weekend or evening events, supporting other staff and representing the organization</p> </li></ol> <p>Requirements: Required Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Minimum 1-2 years of experience in curriculum planning, implementation, evaluation, and instruction.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Microsoft Office applications and record keeping.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong work ethic and commitment to positive youth development.</p> </li><li> <p>Success in prioritizing and meeting multiple demands and deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, manage own work and time, and be accountable for performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Alignment and agreement with the vision, mission, and values of the Latino Education Institute.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work some evenings and weekends.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend program specific trainings</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree and/or 3 year of experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license/state ID and transportation necessary to conducted outreach activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Reliable access to transportation.</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual in Spanish preferred</p> </li></ol> <p>Additional Information: Worcester State University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer which seeks to reflect the diversity of its community.</p> <p>This is a part-time, non-benefited, hourly position.</p> <p>Application Instructions: Applicants must apply online at worcester.interviewexchange.com.
