<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Management and Business & IT at Framingham State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems.</p> <p>Successful candidates will share the university's strong commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, advising, and academic service. Full-time faculty serve on university committees, advise students, and participate in departmental administration and curriculum development, while contributing to the vibrancy of the intellectual and creative community of the university.</p> <p>The College of Business comprises three departments; the Department of Management and Business & IT offers four undergraduate major programs and supports four graduate programs. The programs are accredited by IACBE.</p> <p>The position requires teaching undergraduate courses in Information Systems, including Introduction to Business Systems, Information Systems Management, and Information Systems Research. The successful candidate will be expected to develop additional IS undergraduate courses, such as data analytics, data visualization, or cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be able to teach other undergraduate management courses, as well, such as strategy, project management, international business, or entrepreneurship.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>A doctoral degree in Information Systems or a closely related field is required. </li><li>Evidence of successful teaching experience in the field of Information Systems at the undergraduate level. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position in the Massachusetts State College Association (MSCA) bargaining unit at a faculty rank commensurate with experience and credentials. Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with Appendix O of the MSCA contract.
