<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Maintenance Manager will oversee the repairs, installations and upkeep of various buildings, offices, and other facilities. Their main duties include designing maintenance procedures, tracking budgets and expenses and performing inspections on different facilities to find problems and make repairs.</p> <p>Principle Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform a wide variety of maintenance work projects involving the maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, including modifications to existing machinery/equipment to improve design and efficiency and to assure all production equipment is operating at maximum potential in support of peak manufacturing. </li><li>Responsible for maintenance and improvement of building facilities systems and grounds, and to assure facility equipment and plant meets all regulatory requirements. </li><li>Perform related work, under the direction of the General Manager, within the limits of established policies. </li><li>Responsible for carrying out maintenance projects including the modification of equipment, machines, and facilities in the plant, to improve efficiency, and contribute to manufacturing effort of producing quality precision products, involving constructing, modifying, and maintaining plant facilities such as water towers, HVAC systems, electrical systems of machinery, air compressor equipment, heavy production machinery for mill products, clean room, high pressure gas systems and water systems. </li><li>Responsible for the timely and effective performance of all preventative maintenance program tasks </li><li>Maintain logs for each machine included in the preventative maintenance program and fill-in appropriate notation to indicate timely completion of each task. </li><li>Replace any worn parts as required and change oils, filters, etc. as scheduled in the service log. </li><li>Interface with manufacturing and other departments to secure services and information. </li><li>Maintain related records, files, in up-to-date condition. </li><li>Maintain office area and equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition. </li><li>Follow established company/department rules and regulations and maintain quality standard. </li><li>Perform other related duties as required or directed. </li><li>Provide necessary direction and supervision of maintenance personnel. </li></ul> <p>Credentials/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in engineering, administration, or facility management preferred </li><li>Minimum experience of 10 years in manufacturing </li><li>5 years in a supervisory role </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems </li><li>Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics </li><li>Effective communication and people management skills </li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
