This highly technical position is responsible for the performance engineering of DTCC distributed computing environments and providing analytical stress evaluations of applications/systems and service level compliance using statistical, analytical, and simulation methods. They will work together with developers and test engineers to deliver high performing, business-critical applications.</p> <p>Your Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordination / leadership of performance team and external team members, e.g. product, development, DBA, middleware, network </li><li>Assist in the development of estimates for projects </li><li>Assist with resource assignments and coordinate between teams at multiple locations to ensure on time delivery of projects </li><li>Work with product and development teams to define and maintain non-functional requirements to work into test plans </li><li>Deliver effective performance analysis, reporting and presentations to various team members (business, development) </li><li>Perform the analysis of relationships between the non-functional requirements and key performance metrics </li><li>Coordinate troubleshooting of infrastructure and application issues </li><li>Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and bottlenecks </li><li>Defect tracking and reporting </li><li>Work closely with application development and other technical teams to ensure that defects are taken care of in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Develop and maintain statistical models of key performance metrics </li><li>Construct and maintain analytical models of applications/systems </li><li>Proactively identify areas for further research and analysis </li><li>Lead and participate in knowledge sharing activities </li><li>Mitigate risk by following established procedures and supervising controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. </li></ul> <p>NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 8 years of related experience </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience </li></ul> <p>Talents Needed for Success:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in Expertise in performance engineering, J2EE software applications, Unix/Linux environments, and performance analysis tools. </li><li>Sophisticated skills in statistical and analytical modeling. </li><li>Proficiency in scripting, load testing tools, and CI/CD pipeline implementations. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and experience with Agile teams. </li></ul> <p>The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
