Provides clinical expertise and leadership while training and leading associates and students.</p> <p>15%</p> <p>Clinical competency which includes facilitating proficiency test program for their area of clinical focus.</p> <p>5%</p> <p>Patient safety and infection control practices. add this section from ML t</p> <p>5%</p> <p>Maintains all QC and instrumentation and records required by accrediting agencies, CAP, JCAH o and files documentation in such a manner that it is accessible to all technical staff who use the data, as well as inspectors reviewing data to monitor compliance with regulation.</p> <p>5%</p> <p>Performs other misc. duties as assigned Inventory management as required</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree (Required)</p> <p>Additional Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Perform processing of Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell products using aseptic technique and perform technical duties in all laboratory sections, with minimal supervision. </li><li>Process more than minimally manipulated clinical human therapeutic cellular products by various methods using manual and/or automated aseptic technique in a CPL according to standard operating procedures and applicable regulations. </li><li>Perform all aspects of flow cytometry including testing and analysis, calibration and maintenance, setting up samples, fine-tuning gating techniques and preparing reagents. </li><li>Perform plasma reduction and/or RBC depletion using Sepax or COBE cell processor. </li><li>Achieve and maintain competency in routine and complex processing procedures, including: aseptic technique, flow cytometry and data analysis, cryopreservation/thawing, centrifugation and washing, labeling, storage and transportation. </li><li>Review and evaluate test results for acceptability including automated and manual cell counts, viability results, flow cytometry histograms, sterility testing results. </li><li>Maintain complete, accurate, legible, neat, organized, up-to-date records/logs/files. </li><li>Assures the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures.
