<p>Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)</p> <p>Adolescent Residential Treatment | West Jordan, UT</p> <p>Weekdays Only | Flexible Schedule</p> <p>Copper Hills Youth Center is a Joint Commission-accredited adolescent residential treatment facility serving boys and girls ages 12-17. Located 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City International Airport, we provide trauma-informed, individualized care in a structured therapeutic setting.</p> <p>We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide onsite, non-emergent medical care for adolescents in our residential programs.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <ul> <li>Provide low-acuity medical care and admissions H&Ps. </li><li>Independent practice within a structured, collaborative residential environment. </li><li>Weekdays only (no weekends are required). </li><li>Part-time or full-time flexibility. </li><li>Onsite role (no call). </li></ul> <p>Facility Highlights</p> <ul> <li>197-bed adolescent residential treatment center. </li><li>Populations include mood disorders, trauma, autism spectrum, substance abuse, and chemical dependency. </li><li>Trauma-informed, phase-based treatment model. </li><li>Stable, experienced medical leadership and interdisciplinary support. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries (rashes, infections, ingrown toenails, common illnesses). </li><li>Complete medical histories and physicals for new admissions. </li><li>Prescribe medications within scope. </li><li>Order and review labs and X-rays as needed. </li><li>Identify conditions requiring outside care and coordinate referrals. </li><li>Collaborate with clinical and residential staff. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program. </li><li>Active Utah APRN license (or ability to obtain). </li><li>1-2 years post-graduate clinical experience preferred (primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, or adolescent health). </li><li>Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. </li><li>Comfort working with adolescent behavioral health populations. </li></ul> <p>Why This Role</p> <ul> <li>Predictable weekday schedule with no weekends and only occasional call. </li><li>Meaningful work with the adolescent population. </li><li>Supportive leadership and well-established medical team. </li><li>Mission-driven, trauma-informed environment. </li></ul> <p>Copper Hills Youth Center, www.copperhillsyouthcenter.com, is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc.
