<p>Job Title: Civil Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a experienced Civil Project Manager/Designer to join our team and assist with various land development projects in Howard, Prince George's, and Montgomery Counties in Maryland. The role involves utilizing AutoCAD to produce engineering designs for stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, preliminary design, water and sewer plans, among others. This office-based position is deadline-oriented and requires proficiency in software and design experience. You will work on commercial, residential (both subdivisions and mixed-use), and industrial projects (flex warehouse space).</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Produce engineering designs using AutoCAD for stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, preliminary design, water and sewer plans. </li><li>Assist with land development projects in various jurisdictions. </li><li>Work collaboratively within a project team that includes civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying disciplines. </li><li>Participate in all phases of design projects, rather than just one segment. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D with at least 3-5 years of experience. </li><li>Experience in land development projects. </li><li>Exposure to or interest in project management. </li><li>Strong understanding of stormwater design, drainage, and sediment control. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, with 0-5 years of experience. </li><li>EIT certification or progression towards it is desirable. </li><li>For non-degreed candidates, technical certification or associate level qualification with design experience is essential. </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is based in an office environment, working Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week. You will be part of a project team featuring various disciplines such as civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying.
